Liferafts that are ready when needed
Berth Marine inspects liferafts to help ship operators keep their life-saving equipment safe and compliant. Every inspection ends with a detailed report of the findings and, where needed, recommendations to correct them.
Our goal is to help you meet local and international safety requirements and keep every liferaft ready for an emergency.
What we do
Scope of service
Structural integrity
Examination of the raft for tears, holes, corrosion and other signs of wear.
Inflation system
Checks of CO₂ cylinders, pressure gauges and inflation valves to verify they work.
Emergency provisions
Assessment of water rations, food supplies, flares and signalling devices, with expiry dates verified.
Inspection report
Detailed report of findings and recommendations for any issue identified.

- Vessel name and IMO number
- Port and expected dates (ETA / ETD)
- Equipment maker and model, if known
- Short description of the job or defect
- Photos, drawings or the RFQ list

Common questions
What does the inspection report contain?
The report lists the findings on the raft structure, inflation system and emergency provisions, with recommendations for anything that needs to be addressed.
Can you inspect rafts on several vessels of the same fleet?
Yes. Send the vessel list, ports and dates and we will confirm how we can attend.
